Join us for an art exhibit titled “My Maine”, showcasing the watercolor works of Denise Fleischman, a talented artist who captures the essence of moments through vibrant paintings.
A Maine native now living in Monticello, NY, Denise earned her BA in Art from the University of Maine at Orono. She studied under Betsy Jacaruso in Rhinebeck for 10 years and has also studied at the Woodstock School of Art with Staats Fasoldt. Denise has participated in numerous workshops and was a member of Cross River Fine Artists, exhibiting in galleries throughout the Hudson Valley.
Denise’s creative process begins with capturing a photograph of a person or place. From there, she seeks to transform the feeling of that moment into a watercolor painting, blending technique and emotion to bring her subjects to life.
