Covid Safety Policy

COVID SAFETY POLICY

The Delaware Valley Arts Alliance takes your health and safety seriously, along with the that of everyone who attends or participates in our events.

We have updated guidelines based upon those established by the Centers for Disease Control, the NYS Department of Health, and Sullivan County Public Health Services. For attendees of any DVAA event, our guidelines are as  follows, in response to the current COVID-19 situation in our area:

    • We request that attendees receive a negative test result for COVID within 48 hours of the festival via a home testing kit or one issued by a medical provider.

    • We recommend but do not require that all attendees – guests, volunteers, and staff – wear a recommended facial mask that covers their mouth and nose in indoor venues. This includes children over two years of age.

    • Social distancing when achievable should be maintained from others outside your own party.

    • If you are feeling ill in any way, for any reason, PLEASE STAY home. Anyone who is obviously ill will be asked to leave the venue.

As we work to maintain access to our interior performance venues we will be implementing guidelines based upon those established by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the NYS Department of Health, and Sullivan County Public Health Services. For attendees to  any performance or public event, we are requiring the following in response to the current COVID-19 situation in our area:

      • Proof of a complete COVID-19 vaccination (two shots for the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine, one-shot for the J&J vaccine) must be provided upon entry to any performance or public event venue. Acceptable proof can be either an official paper vaccination card or the digital NYS Excelsior app.
      • Alternately a verifiable negative test result within 72 hours of the performance or public event will also be accepted for those not currently vaccinated. Such proof must be provided by all attendees unless they are under 5 years of age (for which there currently is no approved vaccine).
      • All attendees, volunteers, and staff present at a performance or public event must wear a facial mask that covers their mouth and nose when indoors. This includes children over 2 years of age. Masks can only be removed at times when food/drink is being consumed.
      • Social distancing is strongly encouraged at all times from others outside your own party. Seating and other accommodations will be arranged to minimize close contact.
      • If you are feeling ill in any way, for any reason, please do NOT attend a performance or public event. Anyone who is obviously ill will be asked to leave immediately.
