- Areas of focus include but not limited to Gallery Management, Performing Arts Production, and Film Festival Coordination

Do you value the role the arts and artists play in strengthening our communities? Interested in volunteering your skills and resources? Nominees for DVAA’s Board of Directors welcome each spring!
- Three-year terms
- Nine meetings are held annually with members assigned to 1-2 committees
- Past Non-profit experience a plus but not required
Maybe you’re new to the area and want to meet people. Perhaps you’re retired and in need of a creative community. Whatever you’re looking for, you’ll find it as a volunteer at DVAA. Some of our volunteers have been here for decades - that’s how much fun we have together! As a volunteer you might:
• Help hang art in our gallery
• Pour wine at an art opening or
• Staff the welcome booth at Riverfest
• Make popcorn at the Big Eddy Film Festival
• Assist with office work, data entry, or a big mailing
• Provide your expertise producing one of our live events
• Lend your unique talents in ways we haven’t even imagined
