The Delaware Valley Arts Alliance (DVAA) is committed to protecting the privacy of its visitors, online guests, customers, members, donors, and friends. This privacy policy governs the way we collect and use personal information both online and offline, and it explains the types of information we collect and how we use it. By visiting this website (delawarevalleyartsalliance.org) and any other sub-domains or affiliated websites of delawarevalleyartsalliance.org (collectively DVAA’s “website”), you are accepting the practices described in our Privacy Policy. What Personal Information is Collected

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information”.

We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

Online Memberships and Donations

When you purchase, renew or gift a DVAA membership or make a donation to DVAA online, we will ask you to provide us with the information we need to process your membership and/or to acknowledge your contribution. This information includes your name, billing and mailing addresses, telephone number, email address, and credit card information. These transactions will be facilitated by a contractor who has agreed to use the information you provide only for the purpose of completing your transaction and tracking membership and registration status.  Your credit card information will be sent via an encrypted SSL connection to our third-party payment card processors for payment processing. We will retain your personally identifiable information for our records, in order to facilitate better customer service. We do not store credit card numbers. To process payments for members who have selected automatic renewal, DVAA will retain payment information using tokenization technology for enhanced security. If you prefer to purchase or renew a membership or make a donation offline, you may do so by calling DVAA at (845) 252-7576 during our office hours, Tuesdays – Saturdays, 9am – 5pm.

Online Purchases of Event Tickets

DVAA uses third-party vendors to administer and process your online purchase of admission tickets to our events. We also work with third-party contractors to process ticketing for certain events. DVAA requires its vendors to maintain the security of the information which you provide to them. If you prefer to purchase ticket to an event offline, you may do so by calling DVAA at (845) 252-7576 during our office hours, Tuesdays – Saturdays, 9am – 5pm.

Online Retail purchases

DVAA offers merchandise, and other items for sale via delawarevalleyartsalliance.org. Your name, credit card, email address, billing and shipping information will be required to complete an order. Your credit card information will be sent via an encrypted SSL connection to our third-party payment card processors for payment processing. DVAA does not save credit card information. We will save your other personally identifiable information for our records, in order to facilitate better customer service. If you prefer to place an order by telephone, DVAA staff can be reached during our open hours at (845) 252-7576 during our office hours, Tuesdays – Saturdays, 9am – 5pm.

Children Under Age 13

DVAA’s website is not specifically dedicated to children and does not solicit personal information from children. Visitors under the age of 13 should remember that they are required to obtain an adult’s permission before submitting any personal information to this or any other website.

DVAA News

DVAA offers visitors to our website and other supporters the opportunity to subscribe to our online mailing list, a service hosted by a third-party contractor that has agreed to use the email address you provide only to send DVAA communications to you. You may unsubscribe at any time following the instructions in each email.

Emailing DVAA

If you send an email to DVAA, your message and email address may be saved and we may send you emails in order to respond to your message. Any material, business information, ideas, concepts, or other information sent to DVAA by email will be treated as non-confidential and non-proprietary. We will only use the information provided in your email and your email address to improve the DVAA website, services, and products, and to fulfill or respond to your requests for products, services, or information.

Website Usage Information

DVAA automatically collects certain information to help us operate and provide the DVAA website to you. As is the case with many websites, our servers automatically collect your IP address when you visit our website, and we may associate that with your domain name or that of your Internet access provider. We may also capture certain “clickstream data” pertaining to your website usage. Clickstream data includes, for example, information about your computer or device, Web browser and operating system and their settings, the referring page that linked you to the website, the pages or content you see or click on during your visit and when and for how long you do so, items you download, transactions you complete, and any search terms you have entered on the DVAA website or a referral site.

How Personal Information is Used
DVAA is committed to protecting the privacy of its website visitors. We may also use it to contact you to provide information about other DVAA activities, programs, membership and fundraising opportunities, products and special events that may interest you. With Whom Personal Information is Shared

DVAA does not share your personal information with other organizations, such as other non-profits or museums. We and our third-party vendors or partners use analytics data for a variety of purposes such as to improve the design and content of our website, to help us learn things like what pages are most attractive to all of our visitors and what promotions visitors like to see, and to gauge the success of our advertising campaigns.
