Bethel Council of the Arts: 2022 Members Exhibition Show Opening

Please join us for the Bethel Council of the Arts: 2022 Members Exhibition Art Exhibit Opening on Sunday, April 24th, from 2:00pm-4:30pm. Enjoy a chance to meet the artists and take a self-guided tour through the show.

The Galleries at the Union is pleased to host the Bethel Council of the Arts (“BCA”) for a group show featuring work by members Susan Baus, Hassina Brodie, Nick Clemente, Caroline Harrow, James Hawley, Eileen Curtis Israel, William Landau, Aaron Lieberman, Keith Newman, Joanie Nicole, Cynthia Shechter, Gail Tuchman, and Adrienne Walker.

After the Coronavirus pandemic effectively canceled the 2020 exhibition season, and with no dedicated exhibition space for its 2021 season, the show at the Galleries at the Union will be the BCA’s first major group show in over two years. A sprawling exhibition of 90 pieces, the work on display represents a variety of artistic mediums, genres, and subject matter, and represents the unique perspectives and inspirations of the BCA membership.

Established in 2016 as a not-for-profit organization serving the artists of the greater Bethel community, the BCA provides creative support to over 100 artists through exhibition opportunities, by sponsoring community events including the Kauneonga Lake Music Festival and through its regular participation at the Kauneonga Lake Farmer’s Market and the Harvest Fests and Holiday Markets at Bethel Woods. The BCA also runs a vibrant and popular year-round Book Club and has produced numerous performance art and film events.
