Storytelling Workshop

Flower Workshop at Willow Wisp Organic Farm

Join flower growers Tannis Kowalchuk, Jess Beveridge, and local guest grower designers for an in-depth tour around the Willow Wisp Organic Farm flower field.

Learn about the best varieties for cut flower gardens and markets, harvest and post-harvest methods.

Cut flowers from the extensive fields at Willow Wisp and design your own creations with tips from the experts.

Bring your favorite clippers, and a vessel for your floral design to take home at the end of the workshop.

Cooking Vegan Soul Food at Narrowsburg Farmers’ Market with Farm Arts Collective

In celebration of Juneteenth, a federal holiday that commemorates the emancipation of African-American slaves, and celebrates black culture, join human rights activist and Farm Arts Collective performer & Board Member Adrienne Jensen in a vegan soul food cooking class.

Adrienne will share her favorite traditional recipes cooked with a vegetable-forward ingredient list purchased from the Narrowsburg Farmers’ Market.

Help Adrienne prepare black-eyed peas, collard greens, and her version of traditional meat dishes using mushrooms.

Learn recipes, eat together, and learn more about Adrienne, Juneteenth, and the struggle for freedom.

Harbingers of Spring: Expressive Landscape Painting Workshop

Join us with guest artist Cynthia Rosen, a prolific painter, engaging teacher and Eric Rhodes’ featured “plein air master” based in Vermont, who’ll share her kaleidoscopic, palette knife painting technique. In our 2-hour LIVESTREAM, we’ll paint along as she demonstrates a “spring landscape.” Participate remotely via Zoom or join us at Gallery 222 for AM LIVESTREAM and LIVE STUDIO to explore further of the palette knife. Bring personal photo refs or sketches. (Materials list available online.)

Drawing Club with Artist in Residence

Join Derick Melander and Robyn Almquist for an open drawing club event at the Laundry King. Artists of all ages and abilities are invited for this collaborative and fun community event.  Supplies will be provided, and this event is free and open to the public.
