DVAA is proud to present “Selective Belonging: The Walls We Choose Not to Look Behind,” an evocative solo exhibition by Tatana Kellner. Kellner’s work at the intersection of image and text uses monoprinting to navigate the complex and troubling times we face. Through her expressive and intuitive process, she creates art that seeks to offer new pathways and visions for the future.
With over 50 solo exhibitions to her name, Kellner’s work has been showcased in prestigious venues such as the Hunterdon Museum, Pen & Brush Gallery, Ringling School of Art, and the Dorsky Museum. Her art is deeply rooted in social issues, blending abstraction and representation to capture the spectrum of human experience.
In addition to her exhibitions, Kellner has been recognized with numerous grants and awards, including those from the Pollock Krasner Foundation and New York Foundation for the Arts. She has held fellowships at The MacDowell, Yaddo, and many other esteemed institutions.
Monoprint Workshop
Kellner will be leading two Monoprint Workshops at DVAA on Saturday, August 3rd before the gallery opening.
