The Narrowsburg Series began with the idea that “landscape” is more than representation; it is a physical entity with whom it is possible to creatively collaborate. The centerpiece of the exhibition will be Deihl’s newest painting, Equinox, which will be placed outdoors over six months, from the Spring Equinox until the Autumn Equinox, to be reworked by the weather, light, and seasonal changes, before premiering at DVAA on September 19.
Assemble at Maison Bergogne at 3:30pm on September 19th to join the procession taking Equinox from it’s outdoor location to be installed in DVAA’s Alliance gallery. The official opening party for The Narrowsburg Series and Heidi Jensen | Landlooker will follow at 4pm.
