“People, Planet, Politics” includes fourteen artists working in painting, sculpture, photography, and digital mixed media.
“People, planet, and politics all have a significant impact on each other,” says DVAA’s gallery director Rocky Pinciotti, who curated the show. “Many of the works in the exhibit overlap these three categories. Some of the works are directly political with photographs of political rallies. Other works address nature’s impact on us, as well as the struggle to survive in urban and polluted environments. And there are images of people who are struggling to survive as a result of both natural and political fury.”
This exhibit includes artists Ellen Alt, Mark Aubrey, Ronald Gonzalez, Edith Gould, Thierry Gourjon, Laurie A. Guzda, Jonathan Hyman, Theodora Johnson, Peter Kopher, Richard Kreznar, William Landau, Glenn Lieberman, Patricio Robayo, and Michael Trovato.
