TESS Pop-Up Features Richard D’Ambrosia

  The 6th in a series of art pop-ups at TESS will feature painter Richard D’Ambrosia from July 25 through September 15, with an artist’s reception on August 3 from 3-6.

      Although he has worked for the likes of Betsey Johnson and Bill Blass, Mr. D’Ambrosia is self-taught as a painter.  “When I paint, I never try to match the carpet or the drapes!” said the artist. “Each picture I paint has a story for me. No two people see the same thing. So, I concentrate on the details and backgrounds, and keep silent – excitedly waiting to hear.” 

     The reception is being held in conjunction with the Delaware Valley Arts Alliance’s opening of artists Julie Harrison and Tayana Kellner on the same day as the reception for Mr. D’Ambrosia. TESS is located at 15 Main Street in Narrowsburg, NY.
