Sea Wall & The Catastrophist
River Rep presents an evening of acclaimed monologues, including Simon Stephens’ “exquisite” one-act SEA WALL – a powerful story about fatherhood and family, and about “the hole that grief can blast through a person’s center.” (New York Times), and THE CATASTROPHIST – “a riveting meditation about life and death and the nature of viruses” (WTTW Chicago) – by Lauren Gunderson, “the most produced playwright in America.” (American Theater Magazine)
SEA WALL & THE CATASTROPHIST stars Arthur Aulisi, who directed River Rep’s 2022 production of “Every Brilliant Thing” and recently starred in River Rep’s July premiere of “We”, and Charlie McElveen, who was “riveting” (River Reporter) in the title role of River Rep’s 2022 production of “Danny and the Deep Blue Sea”. Directed by Christopher Peditto.
