The film tells the story of a Mississippi Southern belle, Blanche DuBois (Vivien Leigh), who, after encountering a series of personal losses, seeks refuge with her sister(Kim Hunter) and brother-in-law (Marlon Brando) in a dilapidated New Orleans apartment building.
