“Inspired by Song” – May 8th – June 14th
The Wayne County Arts Alliance announces, “Inspired by Song,” the second collaboration between the Yarnslingers and WCAA member artists who created an original artwork inspired by memoirs that were inspired by songs. “Inspired by Song” runs from May 8, 2025 through June 14, 2025, with a reading on May 18 at the Bodhi Tree Art Studio (214 6th Street, Honesdale, PA) at 2pm, followed by an artists’ reception from 4pm – 6pm at the WCAA Gallery (959 Main Street, Honesdale, PA)
The Yarnslingers, a writer’s group based in the Upper Delaware River Valley and founded by writer/musician Ramona Jan, is dedicated “to the art and craft of storytelling,” with the belief that “everyone has a story worth telling and hearing.”
The WCAA gallery, beginning its third full exhibition season at 959 Main Street, provides an exhibition space for artists to curate and exhibit their work, share ideas through workshops and artist talks, and be a hub for a growing art community.
