Plays In Development – The Finale at SCDW

The Sullivan County Dramatic Workshop proudly presents the finale of its Plays in Development Series weekends from Sept 5th to Sept 14th at the Rivoli Theatre.

In the Spring, audiences were invited to view five short plays and give feedback to the authors, directors, and actors. Playwrights took the constructive criticism and wove it into their pieces. How exciting it will be for those Spring audiences to see if their suggestions were incorporated into these revised one acts. Which titles were changed? Were plays edited or lengthened? Which play didn’t make the cut? Come and find out.

If you missed the Spring performances, you will still enjoy seeing these five new intriguing plays. These local playwrights – Rob Baron, Em Carubis, Margie Semilof, along with Jean Eifert and Peter Nastasi (who are producing and directing)- with Jean Eifert and Peter Nastasi presenting their own new one-acts, are excited to showcase their work.

This is a unique opportunity to support live theatre and encourage local playwrights while having a most enjoyable night’s entertainment. Friday and Saturday performances are at 8pm and Sundays at 2pm at the historic Rivoli Theatre in South Fallsburg.
