Phillipsport Monthly Music Night

Debbie Fisher and Paul Kean singer/songwriters will open our final music night of the season playing a vast repertoire of traditional, folk, rock, bluegrass, blues, with originals sprinkled in, drawing from life experience and showcasing the artists we love from years past into the present.

The finale will be Robert Tellefsen, whose style and music is reminiscent of Richie Havens.  Haven taught him to tune his guitar to “open D” and form chords by bringing his thumb over top of the fingerboard: Havens’ own work-around. Tellefsen has dedicated himself to honoring the music of Richie Havens and the spirit of the original Woodstock, getting us all “back to the garden”.

Door admission includes homemade pie and coffee/tea or soda.
