“Perceptible to Conceivable–My Long and Winding Road 1968-2024”- A Community Art Exhibit Featuring Richard Arnold

The Ethelbert B. Crawford Public Library is proud to present the next installment of our Community Art Exhibit series: “Perceptible to Conceivable–My Long and Winding Road 1968-2024”, featuring local artist Richard Arnold.

Based in Kiamesha Lake, NY, Arnold is a Yale and Pratt-educated artist, art historian, and bibliophile. He has worked at the Metropolitan Museum, is the owner of the Glen Wild Studio, and has been patronized by the late Lincoln Kirstein. His art has been featured in exhibitions over the past twenty years in the Hudson Valley and at the Blue Mountain Gallery in Manhattan, and is included in collections at institutions such as SUNY-Ulster, the Leslie-Lohman Museum, the Cragsmoor Free Library, the Government Art Gallery in Bangalore, India, and Yale’s Sterling Memorial Library – Department of Manuscripts and Archives.
