The Celebration will take place on June 22, 2024, from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at The Great Wall of Honesdale (4th & Main Streets, Honesdale, Pennsylvania).  There will be a photo opportunity for attending artists with Wayne County Arts Alliance member/photographer, David Soete.  A tented reception area will be provided, along with light refreshments. Rain date is June 23, 2024, from 2:00pm to 4:00pm.

Now in its ninth year, the 2024 theme for the Great Wall of Honesdale is “Journey” and features an international group of twelve juried artists:

Vogt of San Diego, CA; Monique Milleson of Honesdale, PA; Sue Jenkins of Scranton, PA; Emily Duris of Monroe Township, PA; Jodi Hills of Aix-en-Provence, France; Joseph Vaccaro of Eagle Point, OR; Carly Schott of Waymart, PA; John Nativio of Cleveland, OH; and Wil Scott of Annapolis, MD.

Each artist’s original work is digitally reproduced on an 11 x 17-foot panel of billboard vinyl and is on display for a period of one year at the intersection of 4th & Main Streets in Honesdale, Pennsylvania.  Art mediums represented this year are digital drawing, mixed media, digital photography, printmaking, acrylic and oil painting, and colored pencil drawing.
