Maker-in-Residence Workshop: Introduction to Knitting & Knitting Help
Tap into your inner creative with local artist Bryan Cronk. This workshop series will have you working with different media under supportive guidance.
This workshop invites beginners to learn the basics of knitting, while more experienced participants are invited to work on current projects with guidance from a fellow experienced knitter.
Bryan Cronk is a working ceramics artist in Sullivan County and self-described DIY-er. He also teaches beginner ceramics lessons at Catskill Art Space. Bryan has been working in clay since 2006 and has had a private studio in Livingston Manor since 2014. He has also been a knitter for 25 years, knitting sweaters, scarves, and socks, mostly for himself. His philosophy: “everyone is creative, it only takes a supportive environment to express yourself.”
This project is made possible in part with funding from a Sullivan County Arts & Heritage Grant, funded by the Sullivan County Legislature and administered by the Delaware Valley Arts Alliance.
