Grand Opening of The Black Library
The wait is finally over! HPAC is delighted to announce the much-anticipated Grand Opening of The Black Library on August 12 at its new home on 418 Broadway in Monticello. This vibrant community space is dedicated to celebrating Black history and culture, creating an inclusive platform for education, dialogue, and artistic expression.
Local artists, including James Ivory, Douglas Shindler, Michael Davis, Malik Bridges, Eli Rivera, Amelia Williams, Devon Mathis, Kenny Corley, and more, will showcase their incredible work, adding a burst of creativity and inspiration to the event. Music will be curated by Monticello’s own DJ Gteaze.
