‘Dark Forest’ @ Burn Brae mansion

**Dark Forest 2025: The Experiments of Dr. Moreau**
This year, the woods behind Burn Brae Mansion are not just haunted—they’re unnatural.
Step into the **Dark Forest: The Experiments of Dr. Moreau**, where twisted science and primal fear collide. Inspired by H.G. Wells’ chilling tale, the forest has become the hidden domain of a rogue scientist obsessed with reshaping life itself. Half-human, half-beast creatures lurk in the shadows, remnants of unspeakable experiments that blur the line between man and monster. Their cries echo through the trees, their glowing eyes watching from the underbrush.
As you wind through the overgrown paths and forgotten research sites, you’ll uncover the horrors of what happens when man plays god—and the terrifying cost of tampering with nature. But beware… the Doctor’s creations are no longer under control.
**Part immersive trail, part psychological nightmare—this is Burn Brae Mansion’s Dark Forest as you’ve never seen it before. Are you brave enough to enter?**
Now in its 33rd year, the 𝐃𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐇𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐖𝐚𝐥𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐥 winds through the woods behind the historic—and haunted—Burn Brae Mansion in Glen Spey, NY. Live music, vendors, food, beer and wine.
