“Spring Concert: Tshombe Selby”
VOICES OF SPRING!
Celebrate Spring with DVO Family stars!
Our kick-off event will be a series of three concerts celebrating DVO’s progress and its value to local singers. Three singers, all for whom the DVO has played a vital part in their vocal careers, will return to DVO to share their talents and artistry.
Tshombe Selby sang his first full opera roll, the Count in “Barber of Seville”, at the DVO. He left his home in the Outer Banks of North Caroline to come north to study opera and has made Callicoon a second home. Tshombe is currently engaged in the ensemble of the Metropolitan Opera Co. in NYC. This spring the MET has shared him with Chicago Lyric opera. Join Tshombe as he shares his beautiful tenor voice and his favorite songs and arias with us.
