Stories, like art, come in all sizes, and YARNSLINGERS prove that with their program of SMALL WONDERS tales. On Sunday, November 19th, at 2 PM in DVAA’s Krause Recital Hall, the Yarnslingers will serve up a six-inch slice of storytelling magic.

Celebrate the opening weekend of DVAA’s annual ART IN SIXES exhibition (where each artwork is limited to a mere 6 inches) with six storytellers exploring the theme of “Small Wonders.” As always, the interpretation of this theme has been left to the writers’ discretion.

ABOUT YARNSLINGERS
Dedicated to the art and craft of storytelling, Yarnslingers was founded in 2012 by writer/musician Ramona Jan. Jan believes that “everyone has a story…or two”. She encourages people from all walks of life to spin their spellbinding tales.
The writers of Yarnslingers have presented their stories in the villages in Upstate New York extending from Narrowsburg to Long Eddy. Venues that have hosted Yarnslingers include the Rock Valley Schoolhouse, the Tusten Theater, Bethel Woods, and the public libraries of Callicoon, Tusten, and Cochecton, as well as cafes and taverns in the Upper Delaware River area.
