Poetics of Decentralized Art

Sunday, April 27, 2025

Seth Indigo Carnes and Sha Weï, members of the TXT collective, will participate in a presentation, panel discussion and Q&A moderated by Aaron Hicklin (One Grand Books), exploring concepts of Decentralized Art, TXT’s artist contract in progress, and contemporary poetry and poetics, in connection with National Poetry Month in April.

The event will feature topics like artworks spanning contemporary art and poetry, blockchain technology, and digital provenance for a given poem or artwork. Artists, poetics, collectors and art-enthusiasts are encouraged to attend and participate.

ABOUT TXT

TXT is a nomadic collective creating decentralized art, poetry, happenings and web3 praxis. During winter 2024, they were in residence as part of Arts & Rec at OSMOS Station in Stamford, NY, a program directed by Christian Rattemeyer.
