Big Sky Productions presents “Shorts & Sweets Honoring Veterans: Dear Folks” – Narrowsburg
As Veterans Day 2025 approaches, Big Sky Productions, a 29-year theatre company operating out of Grahamsville, has announced a brand-new program called “Shorts & Sweets Honoring Veterans: Dear Folks.”
Featuring actress and writer Margaret Bruetsch of Cochecton and Big Sky’s artistic director, Carol Montana of Grahamsville, the program will include stories and anecdotes by and about Veterans, interspersed with letters to and from home. Sweet treats and drinks will be available for audience members to sample during and following the show.
“Dear Folks” will be performed at three different venues, beginning on Monday, November 3 at 6 p.m. in the Robert Norris Community Room at the Ethelbert B. Crawford Public Library, 479 Broadway in Monticello.
The second performance will take place on Sunday, November 9 at 2 p.m. at the Sullivan County Historical Society and Sullivan County Museum, located at 265 Main St. in Hurleyville.
The final performance will be held at the Tusten-Cochecton Branch of the Western Sullivan Public Library at 198 Bridge St., Narrowsburg on Friday, November 14 at 5 p.m.
Admission is free for all three events. (A free-will donation to the Sullivan County Historical Society will be accepted.)
