Eddie Marritz Presents “Streaming” at TESS Pop-Up

The 8th and final 2024 pop-up at TESS will feature the water photography of Eddie Marritz from October 31 thru December 29, with an artist’s reception on November 2 from 3-6.

With a Hunter College degree in Cinema Studies, Mr. Marritz honed his phographic skills while filming documentaries about luminaries such as Georgia O’Keefe, Laurie Anderson, and Steven Spielberg. His photographic exhibition, “Realm,” appeared at the Delaware Valley Arts Alliance in 2017.

“Streaming” is his study of the infinite shapes of water. “I create immersive abstraction that reflect joy, turbulence, serenity, impermanence, mystery and tenderness … qualities that reveal themselves in what I’ve come to understand as my romance with water.” The show will include both still and video water studies.
