Yoga For Artists
Space is limited, advance registration is recommended.
Whether you’re a painter, sculptor, writer, or any other creator, repetitive motions can strain both body and mind. Join us for a special Chair Yoga for Artists session on Saturday, March 30th, at 2 PM in Krause Hall, as part of the fifth installment of DVAA’s 2024 Salon Series.
Explore yoga postures tailored to alleviate the physical toll of artistic endeavors and ignite your creative spark through movement and meditation. No prior yoga experience is necessary!
The session will be taught by fiber artist and certified yoga teacher Liza Laird, accompanied by Steve Werner on the handpan, a steel instrument with nine notes and a beautiful ethereal sound.
